The factual Chronicle is the foundation of every commission. As interviews and sources deepen the record, a powerful person, period, place, conflict, or theme may emerge as the center of a separate creative work.
The Chronicle
Readable nonfiction grounded in identified sources, transparent about uncertainty, and reviewed by the family. No invented facts or dialogue are presented as history.
A story within the history
When the record is mature enough, the family may separately commission a focused, clearly disclosed dramatized work. It receives its own scope and never changes the factual standing of the Chronicle.
